Go Cards! Oct 27, 2011

WOW! What a game! If you did not see game 6 of the Word Series last night, then go to YouTube, call your friends, post an Ad on Craigslist or do whatever it takes…Just get a copy!

I grew up in St. Louis from age 9 on (after Vail). My family has been in St. Louis for 200 years now I think? So yes, we are an OLD St. Louis family. A few friends of ours got together and bought the team years ago from Gussie Busch (owner of Budweiser Beer Brewery etc), one of the true great men to ever grace this planet. When you grow up in St. Louis, you love baseball – NO – you LOVE THE CARDINALS and learn baseball from the best! I remember watching Lou Brock breaking and setting records, Ozzie Smith back-flipping out onto the field and Whitey Herzog, what A legend! (thanks Dad for letting me be late for school!)

For those of you whom do not know, St. Louis IS BASBEBALL TOWN AMERICA…Period. Only the New York Yankees can claim more World Series championships and Boston can hang their stinky “wanna-be” socks on their “green monster” wall to dry! No matter what, if you REALLY know baseball, you know what I am saying. If you don’t believe me, then I invite you to come to a game in St, Louis – any day – any time, it will blow your mind how the entire City is Alive with RED and the Cardinals stream through the blood of everyone in unison, good or bad.

I predict the Cardinals will win another World Series tonight, another Game 7 -another ring- and food for an entire city to feed off yet once again, like Filet Mignon & Lobster tail with a fine Champagne. If not, it does not matter, we will be back again and again and again…. because “We are the Cardinals, the Mighty Mighty Cardinals”….and we LOVE our baseball!

GO CARDS!

  1. Hahaha at first on reading the title I never thought Cards would mean Cardinals, sorry for being too naive. I heard that team anyway though I live far from your place, I like baseball and everyone who will watch baseball games especially championship games will always be amused and be thrilled.

  2. Does the Cards still hold the championship title? I want to see watch them personally playing the game. I have trust on team that lives on the place where the game is number one.

  3. I think I would go also to your prediction “I predict the Cardinals will win another World Series tonight, another Game 7 -another ring- and food for an entire city to feed off yet once again, like Filet Mignon & Lobster tail with a fine Champagne.”. I believe in Cards. Well, this match is already done but I still don’t know who won this game and I want to ask who won the game? Sorry I’m too lazy.

  4. I actually want to see this game “WOW! What a game! If you did not see game 6 of the Word Series last night, then go to YouTube, call your friends, post an Ad on Craigslist or do whatever it take”, after commenting on this article I will go to YouTube and watch this one and I will expect the game will really be exciting because just now I find it very interesting. I am a fan of the sport and all I want to say that thanks for sharing.

  5. I have seen it and it was really good. The game was really filled with excitement and fun and I would say it never really fail to amuse the audience. I think there are many sports in the world and the sports that is really fun and filled with excitement is really great and one of those sports is this sport since it’s giving us much fun on it just by watching.

  6. Ha ha ha you are very confident by saying this one “For those of you whom do not know, St. Louis IS BASBEBALL TOWN AMERICA…Period.”, and I am amused by it since I can totally relate to it because I am very supportive in my place too and even any sports that my place is engaging I am always proud and always supportive. I like that attitude since for me I think that is kind of a loyalty type attitude and that is nice.

  7. I predicted this too “I predict the Cardinals will win another World Series tonight, another Game 7”, their game was really one of the good games that I have watched this year. Anyway thanks for informing us about this game and I think many have watched it. I like this kind of game and also some kind of men game just like football and basketball. I am a sporty person and I like just like this game.

  9. The game is such a nice game and it’s indeed a sport for men and that is “brave men”. I am a man and I like the sport as much as I love the sports basketball and football. Many nowadays are being exposed to american football and so far in my place there are now plenty who are familiar with the game. I am not living in the US technically so that’s it.

  10. Ha ha ha I love how you are so very patriotic and loyal to your place “For those of you whom do not know, St. Louis IS BASBEBALL TOWN AMERICA”, I am loyal too to my place but I think you are much better than me by reading this line, I really amused and really laugh reading this one. Anyway it’s good to have that atmosphere always and you are a very positive man.

  11. So this is more likely a sport the same with basketball “I predict the Cardinals will win another World Series tonight, another Game 7 -another ring-“, I don’t know much about the game but I think the game is also good and I have heard some news about I have not seen the sport in an actual field and actual play.

  12. For those who don’t know about baseball here it is, it is a Governed internationally by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF), baseball is an offense/defense bat-and-ball team sport. Baseball, like softball, is unlike most other competitive sports in that the defense is given control of the ball. The number of players on the field at any given time is lopsided heavily in favor of the defense, which always has nine players on the field, while the offense has between one and four. Each team assigns nine defensive players [See position player] on the field of play to face the other team’s (the “opponents”) players who are engaged in batting and baserunning.
