Touchdown

WELL its SUPER BOWL TIME !!! YIPPEEEEE!!!

Its the time of year when the boys rule and the girls drool. Pigskin Heaven. Backyard BBQ’s and Beer. tailgating. men in tights running around a field.. and trash talking in every house, playground and stadium seat in America….and this year we have two of the best Cities for all of the above – New York & Boston!

I am rooting for the Giants…all in. Frankly, it would not matter who was playing against the Patriots, they are my least favorite team in the NFL and I would passionately root for anyone against them, as my good friends Brandon & Stryker (die-hard Pat’s fans) know well !). I don’t like anything about them – well – except their coach – he is certainly one of the greatest in history and the most real since the likes Lambeau, Lombardi,Bear Bryant and Tom Landry.

The last time I saw these to teams play was 2008 in Phoenix. That’s right – at the Super Bowl – and it was AWESOME! I went with a few of my good buddies and it was a week to remember – seriously – I can’t repeat a thing :) but it was all good clean fun! During the game the emotions in the Stadium would sway up and down, along with noise level – all in perfect harmony with the beer sales and back and forth of the scoreboard. By the end of the fourth Quarter the tension was incredible – but we all knew it…just knew it – the Patriots were going to fall that day!

One of the other great memories I had of this day was our cellphones. None of us could get signals…like none! We figured they were jamming the place for security? or maybe the NFL just doesn’t want the signals interfering with the on-field communications? (please turn off all of your device when the cabin door shuts, not in the “airplane mode”, but off..hahahaha..sorry, had to do it!)

So kick off is in 32 hours – and this time we will be at a friends house – most in our Giants colors and 1 other brave soul amongst us in his Patriots garb ( my guess is he doesn’t show ). Frankly – this is the way to watch the game, with friends and multiple Big Screen TV’s going so no one misses a play or the “commercials” – that is what its all about, right?

I’ll post the final score here tomorrow night: ->> Giants _21___ Patriots_17__ Along with pictures of crying Pats fans!

GO GIANTS !

  1. I like it “boys rule and girls drool” lol! What I love about watching the sport is the trash talks that goes around the arena and it really makes you go with the emotions on the game and it seems like you feel what is felt by the players.

  2. Both teams are good to me and they really have a great match. Congratulations to the winning team and more power to them. I just want to watch right now the next match.

  3. I like watching American football and I think it’s the sports for brave, tough and strong guys. I am jealous of those people who have a tall great body and physically fitted body since it is good to see, though I also like mine to of-course but sometimes there are times when those things comes in our mind.

  4. I love this sport, I love the running and the voices of the audiences that surrounds the corners and foundations of the court and field, such great experience to watch this kind of sport.

  5. I think that the time of the men on a year is coming and I like how you describe it and I can’t create a sentence like you did about it but anyway for people who are not yet introduced to American Football here is a brief definition that I took from wiki “American football, known in the United States simply as football, is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the opposing team’s end zone by running with it or throwing it to a teammate.”.

  6. Thank you so much for the last comment for informing others about american football and though it is one of the famous sports in the world but still many does not know about it. I like american football because the people who are playing it are so tough, I can’t play it because I’m so thin but I like watching games of it. The running the tackle the chasing, I like all of it because you can really feel excited watching it and it’s an interesting game.

  7. I totally can relate to you by saying this oine “Its the time of year when the boys rule and the girls drool. Pigskin Heaven. Backyard BBQ’s and Beer. tailgating. men in tights running around a field”. The game is such a great game and many people love it and not only men in particular. All genders and ages love watching the game.

  8. I am also at Giants though the Giants is not my favorite team but still they are a good team also and I think even though I don’t know who won the game but my bet goes to the Giants and I can totally relate to you on this “I am rooting for the Giants…all in. Frankly, it would not matter who was playing against the Patriots, they are my least favorite team in the NFL”, I think the game was fun though.

  9. Super bowl time is really great and it’s really a great time of the year where you spend time with your friends and have a good bonding with your family by watching it. Anyway I am fan of the game also and many of my friends are a fan of it too. Thanks for sharing the article to us and I like how you shared it to us.

  10. Wow! I want to see this “I’ll post the final score here tomorrow night: ->> Giants _21___ Patriots_17__ Along with pictures of crying Pats fans!”, I wonder what is the final score of this game. I want to watch the replay of this though this is been a year already and that’s way too long. Anyway thanks for posting about this game and I am really a fan of this kind of sport of men.

  11. I will share here to all of you a touchdown quote ”
Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game one foot from a winning touchdown.”, This is not mine but I hope all of you will be inspired by this because this is nice.

  12. Nice! boys rule and the girls drool. Everythings worthy if you just don’t care about what people around you would say. I’m awkward, I’m not pretty, I don’t have perfect hair, I make mistakes but thats just me.

  13. Ha ha ha ha I so much like the title. Anywiez the game is really great to watch and also great to play but unfortunately I don’t have a body that is fitted to the game because the game needs a body that is thick and large and full of muscles and must be strong. All of the players in the game are very masculine and you can really see into them and the way they use their strengths.

  14. Such a nice sport for me, I think it’s the time of the year in my place where my highschool school is having a sports events and this one is included to the sports events of course. This sport is not really number one sport in my place but I like this sport and some of my friends find this one amazing than the number one sport that most of the people here like.

  15. Haha I think I remember similar to this one “One of the other great memories I had of this day was our cellphones. None of us could get signals…like none!”, I think this was also what happened when we watch a football game or a soccer and not the football that is an American football. It was a fun experience though due to some reactions and happens next to it.

  16. I guess the fun never stops because this is some kind of continous party “So kick off is in 32 hours – and this time we will be at a friends house – most in our Giants colors and 1 other brave soul amongst us in his Patriots garb, it’s nice to watch an American football game with friends because the noises and the loud voices of your friends will be really exposed.

  17. Since it is stated in one website that American football, known in the United States as football, is a team sport. It is played by two teams, eleven players to a side, who advance an oval ball over a rectangular field that is 120 yards long by 53.3 yards wide and has goalposts at both ends. It is fun literally on watching the game on television and having a telecast on their games but it will be much better if it is on the actual field but I know it is difficult to go there and it is expensive.

  18. So the game is this “American football, known in the United States as football, is a sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field 120 yards long by 53.3 yards wide with goalposts at each end. The offense attempts to advance an oval ball[2] down the field by running with or passing it.”, actually even though the game is not famous in my country I still find it entertaining and fun. If by chance this sport will get famous in my country and many will participate this, maybe I will train and practice on this sport and eventually I will be accepted and compete to other Asian countries that recognizes this game and this is really fun.
